About
Emily joined Arlington/Roe in 2022 as a Commercial Binding Assistant Underwriter. She began her insurance career in 2015 in a temporary position as a receptionist at Powell Walton Milward. She was then recommended to RPS, where she was worked as a tech/processer. She then transitioned to a Commercial Lines Account Manager at a local independent agency in Lexington, Kentucky called GCH Insurance. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in German from the University of Kentucky.
Emily’s favorite aspect of her career is discovering how insurance can help an individual or a business that has suffered a loss; she likes knowing that the policy she helps create and review will be able to support the client in a time of need.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outside and hiking with her dog. During the summer, she enjoys tending to her flowers around the house. When she is not spending time outside, she enjoys reading. Her family is also very important to her; once a year, her parents, siblings, and their families all gather at Cherokee Lake in Rutledge, Tennessee. She believes that spending time with family is essential for establishing traditions and bonds so that they always feel close and supported.
