Summer Internship Program 

The Arlington/Roe summer internship program is designed to help students understand what it takes to be a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker in the Excess & Surplus Lines marketplace. The internship program will be tailored to the candidate’s interests and includes cross-departmental rotational learning. The intern will have the opportunity to learn from underwriters, brokers, company representatives, agents and management throughout the internship.

The program generally lasts 8-10 weeks, and housing accommodations are provided for candidates not local to the Indianapolis area. The application opens at the beginning of September and closes at the end of November each year. Applicant Requirements:

  • 3.0 or better GPA
  • Open to all class levels
  • Business-related major required. Insurance & Risk Management Major or minor preferred.
