Emily Mydlowski joined Arlington/Roe in 2024 as a Commercial Binding Underwriter. Previously, she was a personal lines associate underwriter at a large MGA from September 2019 to July 2024. Before that, she was a member engagement coordinator at the Big “I” of Wisconsin, where she managed the agents’ E&O book of business from February 2017 to August 2018. Emily also worked at R&R Insurance Services as a client service agent on their small commercial book from July 2017 to February 2018. Her career in the industry began at The Horton Group, where she worked as a client analyst on a commercial book of welding & gas, transportation, and habitational from May 2015 to July 2017.
Emily is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and risk management. Additionally, she holds an associate’s degree from St. Clair County Community College in Landscape Design, Greenhouse, and Turf Management. Emily is also has a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Emily is actively involved in her community. She is a dedicated member of Rico Pet Recovery, an animal rescue organization, where she fosters dogs and participates in community outreach events. Emily is also a licensed foster parent, passionate about child welfare and making a difference in the lives of children.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband have two boys, and two forever dogs. Her home is also a temporary haven for numerous foster dogs. Emily loves taking on DIY projects around the house and exploring the city of Columbus.
