Jonathan joined Arlington/Roe in 2023 as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Tennessee. Jon’s background includes several roles in the insurance industry. He first began with Federated Mutual as a Marketing Representative in 2007. He then worked as a Business Insurance Agent for four years at BB&T/KDC Insurance, then as a commercial insurance consultant for two years at Iron Mountain Insurance and most recently as a Business Development Manager at Strate Insurance where he worked with several Arlington/Roe staff.

Jon is from the Tri-City area (Kingsport/Bristol/Johnson City) of East Tennessee, and he attended Middle Tennessee State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace. He holds Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA) and Certified Work Comp Advisor (CWCA) designations. He also holds Tennessee P&C and E&S licenses. Jon also holds a pilot’s license as well given his background in Aerospace.

His favorite aspect of his career includes using his 16 years of direct sales experience to help agent partners put together a strategic approach exceeding their professional and agency goals. With an ever-changing marketplace, he takes immense pride in staying ahead of changes to make sure agents are well informed.

In his spare time, he is hunting, fishing and watching his son play soccer. Together, they ride horses, mountain bikes and spend time at the lake. Jon’s relationship with his family, friends and spoiling his niece and nephews is important to him.
