Melissa joined Arlington/Roe in 2022 as a Professional Liability Associate Broker. Before joining Arlington/Roe, she worked as an insurance agent at Athens Insurance Services for seven years while also working as a licensed massage therapist. She took a break from the insurance industry for a little under a year to work as a pharmaceutical sales representative before jumping back into the E&S side at Arlington/Roe. Melissa has a Bachelor of Science in hearing, speech, and language sciences from Ohio University. 

Melissa’s favorite aspect of her career is helping people protect the things they value the most and learning new things every day. She is also involved in the Sunrise Rotary Club of Athens. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, specifically her husband, nieces and nephews, and friends. She has four dogs that she adores and thinks are the cutest. She also enjoys sewing, and she recently finished a queen-sized quilt, her largest quilt to date.
