Mitch joined Arlington/Roe in 2024 as a Commercial Property Broker. His insurance career began at Liberty Mutual, where he served as a customer service representative for two years. He then advanced through multiple roles at Virtus Underwriting Group, including assistant underwriter, renewal underwriter, account manager and underwriter over a span of three years. Most recently, Mitch was a senior underwriter at Jencap for two years.

Mitch Bedel brings a unique and dynamic background to his role. He is a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in English and spent several years working as a chef right out of college. In 2016, he pivoted to the insurance industry seeking a career with stability and growth opportunities.

His favorite aspect of the insurance industry is meeting new people, creating relationships at every level of the industry, and expanding his professional network.

Outside of work, Mitch’s greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife and kids, cherishing every moment with his family. He also has a profound love for music and cooking. Whether he’s experimenting in the kitchen or indulging in his love for music by playing the electric bass and baritone saxophone, Mitch enjoys these hobbies as avenues for creativity and relaxation.
