Sarah Boone joined Arlington/Roe as a Commercial Binding Assistant Underwriter in 2024. She has prior experience from Appalachian Underwriters, where she worked as a commercial lines new business underwriter for a year. Prior to that, she spent three years at Acceptance Insurance as a licensed sales agent and office manager, and five years as an educational assistant at Knox County Schools.

Sarah enjoys the problem-solving aspects of underwriting. She compares underwriting to fitting together pieces of a puzzle, and she finds it satisfying when it all comes together, ensuring that insureds have what they need.

Originally from Weeki Wachee, Florida, Sarah has been living in Knoxville, TN, with her husband, Justin, and their four furry children—two dogs and two cats. Justin also works in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster for Progressive. In their spare time, they love to explore downtown Knoxville with their dogs and spend weekends at Norris Lake with friends. Sarah’s favorite time of day is when she’s in the kitchen, cooking meals for her family. She finds joy in preparing food and enjoying it while watching their favorite shows together.
