Jamie Blatz, Transportation Renewal Underwriter
Jamie joined Arlington/Roe in May 2023 as part of the transportation department, bringing a fresh perspective to the industry with no prior insurance experience. She lives with her boyfriend in Northern Indiana with all of their pets. Some say they are close to having their own zoo!
- Favorite types of accounts: Garage risks and public/business auto.
- Favorite holiday: Christmas – I love getting together with family to celebrate and all the special Christmas cookies.
- Favorite vacation location: Red River Gorge in KY has been our favorite location so far. It has amazing trails that we hike with our dogs, fun cabins and great wildlife.
- Something people may not know about you but should: I have a wide variety of animals and race cars.
- What do you like to do in your free time? My boyfriend and I race cars and are at the track every weekend during the race season. During the off-season, we love to take our two dogs hiking and spend time outdoors.
- If you could be any animal, what would it be? Probably a fish. How cool would that be?
Eloise Trosper, AU, Transportation Underwriter
Born in Harlan, Kentucky, and raised in Indianapolis, Eloise brings an impressive 46 years of insurance experience to Arlington/Roe, where she has served for the past decade. Her career spans roles at Meridian Insurance, Indiana Lumberman Mutual, and Grain Dealers/MSA, with experience in both underwriting and agency work, including P&C and life and health insurance. She enjoys life with her twin sister and best friend, Georgia, and treasures time with her two grown children, Rose and Russell, and her grandchildren, Seth and Sabrina.
- Favorite types of accounts: I love garage accounts because they combine GL and auto, and I’ve always loved working on GL accounts.
- Favorite holiday: Memorial Day, due to the Indy 500 festivities.
- If you could be any animal, what would it be? I would be a cat in my household because then I would be treated like royalty.
- Do you have any cool life-experience stories? One that stands out is running into a wild tarantula in the Ozarks on one of my working trips to Arkansas with my marketing field rep.
- What is your favorite movie or TV show? My all-time favorites have been M*A*S*H and Monty Python’s Flying Circus. I love to laugh.
Kaleb Vandermaiden, Transportation Underwriter
Kaleb is a Transportation Underwriter originally from Quincy, IL, and now living in Chicago. He brings prior underwriting experience from JM Wilson. A fun fact about his family is that he and his dad share the same birthday, while his mom and brother also share a birthday.
- Favorite types of accounts: Monoline physical damage accounts at the moment.
- Favorite holiday: It’s the only night of the year you can wear what you want without the funny looks.
- What do you like to do in your free time? Workout, play video games, cook, explore the city, outdoors activities when in my hometown.
- What is your favorite food? Mexican food, probably half the meals I eat are Mexican-inspired.
