James R. Eades, CPCU, is Executive Vice President and Chief Brokerage Officer for Arlington/Roe & Co., an independent, family-owned leading managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker. He has served in leadership roles over the Professional Liability, Commercial Brokerage, Bonds and Workers’ Compensation teams.

Jim provides over 40 years of experience in management, underwriting and marketing and has long been dedicated to serving the insurance industry. He has served as a member of Ball State University and Olivet College Insurance Advisory Boards. Jim has also served on the advisory councils of several industry-leading insurance carriers. He is an active member of PLUS, WSIA and CIAB and served on the PLUS Midwest board of directors. He is past chairman of the commercial lines committee for the Insurance Institute of Indiana and served on the executive committees of the Insurance Information Association of Michigan and the Central Indiana Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) chapter.

Before joining Arlington/Roe, Jim held a variety of leadership positions with Ohio Casualty Group including branch manager of the Seattle, WA, and Regional Executive of the Indianapolis, IN, office. Jim attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he received a BS degree in business administration, marketing and management.
