About
Andy joined Arlington/Roe in 2020 as a Transportation Manager. In 2022, he was promoted to Vice President, Transportation. He has prior experience leading the Ohio-based operation of a managing general agency and surplus broker, as well as a background with carrier and retail agency channels. He was responsible for all production in several states and directed a team whose focus was transportation business.
Prior to moving to Columbus, OH in 2017, Andy was the sales and agency relations manager for the same managing general agency and surplus broker for both Indiana and Ohio. Additionally, he has experience as a territory manager in Indiana with a large insurance company and as a risk management consultant with one of our agent partners. He holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Andy grew up in Knightstown, Indiana. He is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish.
Andy’s favorite aspect of his chosen career is the people he has met. Given his diverse career path, he says he has met some of the most amazing people and shared in their success. He is also fascinated by the continually evolving nature of the insurance industry, and he enjoys finding new solutions for the risks that emerge because of the changing world.
Andy is a husband and father, first and foremost; saying that any free time he gets to spend with his family is compound interest in his life. He is a homebrewer, loves to play guitar, and stays very active with running, the occasional triathlon and lifting weights. He is also an avid Dodgers and Hoosiers fan!
