Alex Asta joined Arlington/Roe in 2025 as a Commercial Binding Underwriter. Prior to joining the company, Alex spent over three years at JM Wilson, where he served as both a property and casualty underwriter and an assistant property and casualty underwriter. Before that, Alex worked in tech sales as an account representative at CDW. Alex’s experience in risk evaluation, data analysis and collaboration with agents has fostered a strong analytical approach, driving his ongoing professional development.

Alex graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing & Communication. Though his path led him to underwriting unexpectedly, Alex has established a fulfilling career in commercial underwriting that offers both intellectual challenges and enduring opportunities for growth.

Recognizing insurance plays a fundamental role in the economy, Alex values the stability of a profession where skilled underwriters are consistently needed to assess and manage risk regardless of economic conditions. He also appreciates the unique balance that underwriting provides, allowing him to work independently while also building strong relationships with partners.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active through weightlifting, playing video games and spending time with friends and family.
