Asia Bennett joined Arlington/Roe in 2024 as a Human Resources Assistant. Asia is a graduate of Ball State University, where she completed both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Sociology. She has minors in Interpersonal Relations and Women and Gender Studies, as well as certificates in Institutional Research and Public Administration. While in college, Asia was actively involved in campus life, participating in organizations such as the Student Government Association and the Ball State University Dance Marathon. She also gained practical experience through internships, notably contributing to the development of a data dictionary at Ball State’s Institutional Research office.
Asia’s professional journey began with part-time work as a customer service associate, where she honed her skills in Midwestern hospitality. Her transition into Human Resources has been marked by a keen interest in leveraging her sociological knowledge and educational background to foster collaborative work environments. She finds fulfillment in the dynamic nature of her current role, which allows her to engage with various aspects of HR behind the scenes at Arlington/Roe. Asia enjoys working closely with people and contributing to a supportive community atmosphere within the organization.
Outside of work, Asia enjoys a diverse range of activities, including spending time with friends, embarking on short trips, and indulging in reality TV and true crime podcasts. She is also passionate about music, regularly attending concerts and exploring new additions to her playlist. Additionally, Asia finds joy in craft projects, hosting gatherings and cooking for her loved ones.
