Julia Sonntag

About

Julia Sonntag joined Arlington/Roe in 2024 as a commercial assistant broker. In 2026, she was promoted to Commercial Property & Inland Marine Associate Broker. Before joining the company, Julia completed several internships, including a summer internship with Arlington/Roe in 2022. She also participated in the Wholesale Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) internship program in 2023, where she gained valuable experience interning with Amwins in Tampa, Florida, and Core Specialty Property in Birmingham, Alabama.

Julia graduated from Indiana State University with dual majors in Insurance/Risk Management and Business Administration, and minors in Marketing and Human Capital Management. In addition to her professional pursuits, Julia is a graduate of the Orr Fellowship, an organization supporting professional growth and leadership development among recent graduates in the Indianapolis area. She holds both CPCU and ARM designations.

What Julia enjoys most about her career is collaborating with others to understand unique risks and providing solutions to meet insureds’ needs. She thrives on continuous learning and the opportunity to address diverse challenges in the insurance field.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and reading.
