Kennedy Blackburn joined Arlington/Roe as a Commercial Assistant Broker. She is a graduate of Olivet College with a bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management. In addition to achieving high academic honors, she played varsity volleyball and was team captain. She also worked for Olivet’s football team, giving campus and athletic tours to incoming and potential recruits. She is an active member of Gamma Iota Sigma, serving as Chief Recording and Reporting Officer during her time in college.

During her summers, she gained experience on the retail agency side of insurance when she was a summer intern at The General Agency Company and Hylant. After she graduated from Olivet, she moved to Crystal Mountain for the winter to manage a restaurant at the resort.

Her favorite aspect of her career is that insurance is relationship-based and ever changing. She feels comfortable that in insurance there is always something to learn and always a problem to solve.

In her free time, she enjoys being outside and being active, cooking, baking, as well as trying new foods and places to eat. She enjoys spending time at the lake during the summer and at the ski hill during the winter. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and volunteering when possible.
