Laurel Podgorski joined Arlington/Roe in 2024 as a Human Resources Payroll & Benefits Specialist. Previously, she worked at Surack Enterprises in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she served as the Payroll & Benefits Specialist for a year. Her journey began at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance, also in Fort Wayne, where she was a Customer Service Agent in Special Markets.

Laurel earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trine University in Angola, Indiana, majoring in Human Resources Management. She also holds the SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional) designation and a Property & Casualty license.

Laurel thrives in roles where she can support others in achieving their best performance. She enjoys guiding and educating people on maximizing their benefits and promoting overall well-being for long-term success, both personally and professionally.

In her spare time, Laurel is dedicated to her family and enjoys spending time outdoors. She and her husband are active spectators at their son’s sports events and enjoy walking, running and working out. Laurel is involved in her church, serving on the hospitality team, and has been a member of the Bible Study Fellowship for several years. She enjoys learning through reading and podcasts, with a particular fondness for non-fiction growth- and mom-related topics, as well as all things Dave Ramsey. Laurel’s love languages include coffee, pizza, chips and salsa on a patio, and relaxing around a fire pit.
